Comments on speakers
"Using Nepali exclusively with the children was also very fashionable for a long time among the families who had managed to settle in Kathmandu or temporarily in India... But in the last ten years or so this trend has been reversed a bit. More and more Yohlmos have become aware how closely their personal and group identity is linked with their language; therefore children are now encouraged to learn and use Yohlmo." (p. 6-7)
