Baile Átha Cliath le Gaeilge

BÁC le Gaeilge is a joint venture between the Dublin City Council & Conradh na Gaeilge, with funding from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Our goal is to have Irish more seen and heard throughout the city. We encourage the use of Irish in businesses and communities.

We do this by meeting with local businesses to encourage them to use whatever level of Irish they have with the help of BAC le Gaeilge’s Business Support Package.

We also provide advice, offer suggestions and support materials to the community to assist Irish language networks functioning in the city. An example of some of these networks are; Ciorcail Comhrá, Pop-Up Gaeltacht, Tae & Plé etc.

BÁC le Gaeilge shares information on events that take place throughout the city and we also support the creation of Irish language networks / groups. We also involved in events throughout the year such as Lá Mór na Gaeilge, Lá Fhéile Pádraig, Borradh etc.
