Location Description

"[Spoken in] approximately fifteen villages in the West African country of Benin, and three villages in the neighboring country of Togo... most of the villages have their own specific names for the dialect spoken in that village (e.g. the language of Bassila is called Gisida, that of Balanka Gilɛmbulnya, etc.), which is indicative of the social and linguistic differences between the villages."
