The Linguistics and Applied Linguistics Indigenous Curriculum Resource Project

An annotated bibliography highlighting how Indigenous linguists have responded to, shaped, and challenged academic paradigms of work with Indigenous languages. Topics covered include linguistics and colonialism, the significance of language and language work, collaboration and relationships, archives, the definitions of 'language' and 'speaker', and discourses of endangerment. Work by Indigenous authors, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander authors, is foregrounded throughout.
