About Me

Hi! I'm the Executive Director of the Endangered Languages Project, steering a growing organization as we build community-led networks, knowledge, and capacity for language revitalization around the world. As a settler linguist, my goal is to be a useful resource person for community-led language work: to build and mobilize others' capacity, disseminate knowledge and resources, and support the goals and work of Indigenous and minoritized communities around the world in language revitalization, maintenance, and activism. My academic background is in language documentation and revitalization, with special interest in sociolinguistics, language shift and maintenance, and languages in Cameroon. I am an adjunct assistant professor in the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Department of Linguistics, where I completed my doctorate in 2020.
