Sorry, I had difficulty uploading my videos the past couple of days. This video actually goes after the video regarding the Navajo Word of the Day, "Bá." So if you haven't seen that video, please see that video before you watch this one, ahéhee' (thanks)! Today's Navajo Word of the Day is "Bee," which means "by means of it." Note: please turn on your annotations button so you can see the subtitles!! This lesson is a continuation of what was learned in previous examples, using the word "áshłééh," which means "I'm making." As always, keep in mind the basic Navajo Sentence Structure I use here for my examples: Navajo sentence structure: [OBJECT] -- [ACTION] -- [VERB] The examples: I'm using my computer to download some songs: I'm downloading some songs. Songs ła' download áshłééh. [OBJECT:songs] -- [ACTION:download] -- [VERB: áshłééh] [Item used to achieve action:computer] - bee [OBJECT:songs] -- [ACTION:download] -- [VERB: áshłééh] Shicomputer bee songs ła' download áshłééh. I'm using my computer to download some songs. I'm using my computer to burn some CDs. [OBJECT:CDs] -- [ACTION:burn] -- [VERB: áshłééh] I'm burning some CDs CDs ła' burn áshłééh. Shicomputer bee CDs ła' burn áshłééh. I'm using my computer to burn some CDs. I'm using my phone to show you some pictures. I'm showing you some pictures. Pictures ła' nich'i' show áshłééh. Again, I gave examples of how the word "bee" is used to make Navajo words for things.
