This is a version of "Let It Go" from the Disney movie "Frozen" translated into Miyara Yaeyaman, one of the Yaeyaman languages spoken in southern Okinawa Prefecture. The Yaeyaman languages are part of the Ryukyuan language family, a group of languages that stretches from the Amami Islands in southern Kagoshima Prefecture down to Yonaguni, the westernmost island of Japan, just approximately 100km/60mi away from the coast of Taiwan. All of the Ryukyuan languages are no longer being learned by children and are considered endangered by UNESCO. Copyright Disclaimer: No copyright is claimed in this video. I assert that this video is for the educational purpose of increasing awareness of endangered languages and is permissible under fair use principles in U.S. copyright laws.
