However, according to the Wanda themselves, they live in Kamsamba ward in Momba District Council (it’s also the heartland) and Kipeta ward in Sumbawanga District. The 2012 cencus counted 17 055 people in Kamsamba ward and 25 755 people in Kipeta ward."
