Aspects of Tsishaath Nootka phonetics & phonology

The following text is intended to give some idea of the phonetic complexities involved in the analysis of Tsishaath Nootka. In the text, the first line is a narrow phonetic rendering of Sapir's original fieldnotes. The second is a phonemicisation of this material, following Sapir & Swadesh (1939). The third line is a morpheme-by-morpheme breakdown of the sentence, while the fourth is a gloss of the morphemes. Finally, there is a loose English translation of the sentence.
