Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre

We are one of the many regional language centres in Australia working to maintain and in some cases revitalise the Indigenous languages of Australia. We support the many languages of western and central-north Arnhem Land and in Kakadu National Park in Australia's Northern Territory. We also act as a representative on behalf of speech communities for the promotion and defence of Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property (ICIP). We are an incorporated body and registered charity run by a board and reference group of native speakers of the various languages we support.
