About Me
I am Yulha Lhawa, a Tibetan and a native speaker of Khroskyabs, from the Himalayas. I also speak Amdo Tibetan, Mandarin and English fluently. I started my mother tongue documentation and revitalization journey around high school age. I finished my BA in linguistics at University of Oregon and have completed my MS in computational linguistics at University of Washington. In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga and joining Tibetan circle dances.
My enthusiasm lies in providing guidance on language revitalization, crafting multimedia resources, and adeptly navigating diverse roles within endangered language revitalization efforts.
