On October 14, the ELP community gathered to celebrate the language revitalization work of the 2025 Ready to Revitalize participants.
This cohort of language champions from around the world designed and carried out amazing projects to protect, revitalize, and sustain their languages. At the 2025 Showcase, they shared about their languages and communities, the work they're doing to strengthen their languages and cultures, and the lessons they want to share with other communities around the world.
Ready to Revitalize is an annual project-based online course in language revitalization, facilitated by the Endangered Languages Project. Over the 8-week course, a cohort of 20 participants grow their knowledge, relationships, and visions for language revitalization work in their community - all while gaining hands-on experience in developing a project plan for a revitalization initiative.
This year's presenters included:
Tamara Aisake (Rotuman)
Olomunyak Ole Marine (Maa)
Noel Morales (Tu'un Savi)
Matyas Le Brun (Brezhoneg)
John Abraham Pattipeluhu (Tonsea)
