The proclamitation is being issued under the seal and authority of the Hon’ble Col. Llyod from Darjeeling on the 12th October,1838, of the Christian era, Correspondinto the ………………………….of the Bengali calendar. As per the deed of gift Dated…………., The Hon’ble Raja of Sikkim, Due to great friendship, transferred, in the name of Hon’ble company Government, all the track of hilly land, lying to the east of chota Rangeet, Kahail and Balasan river: west of the rivers Rangyu and Mahananda and south of the great Rungeet.
