A speaker of the New Caledonian language Arhö talks about traditional kanak building. The slides show her sons and their friends building a house in the traditional manner -- more or less. The speaker points out that they use nails in place of the traditional ties. The background noise is crickets. Une locutrice de la langue en danger arhö parle des techniques traditionnelles de la construction chez les kanaks. Les images montrent son fil et ses enfants et leurs amis en train de construire une case plus ou moins à la manière traditionnelle. La locutrice se plaint du fait que son fils emploie des clous.
