At least 300 group members with five distinct dialects in separate nomadic hunter-gatherer bands. Intermarriage between bands leads to extensive dialect contact. All speakers speak Southern Thai and many speak local Malay, and the language as well as the survival of the communities in their traditional lifestyle is endangered.
