- Spoken in 18 main villages of the Kove area, about 50 miles west of the provincial capital in Kimbe, West New Britain, Papua New Guinea. This area is divided into East Kove, Central Kove, and West Kove, which encompass both the mainland as well as nearby islands. Kove is also spoken in the more distant islands of Tamuniai and Arumigi.
