This recording was made in a Helong speaking village in the Bolok area of Kupang. In the background, preparations were being made for a wedding. The family was involved in wrapping the cakes and other gifts which are traditionally brought in by the groom's entourage to the negotiating arena. In this interview, the speakers discuss what was going on at the time and its significance.
