Spoken in two remote communities in north-central British Columbia, Ware and Fort McLeod, as well as by some residents of the Beaver community of Prophet River and the Tahltan community of Iskut. A fair degree of mutual intelligibility exits between Sekani and Beaver, Kaska, and Tahltan.
