ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Alto Huallaga comprises (part of) the Upper Huallaga Valley, the area of the city of the Huánuco (close to the tropical lowlands), Ambo and Pachitea (capital Panao). Alto Huallaga is the Quechua studied by David Weber. Note that the uppermost section of the Huallaga valley is situated in the department of Pasco, which corresponds to the northern Yaru dialects and thus does not belong to the Alto Huallaga variety of Quechua.
