"Alacatlatzala Mixtec" [mim] is spoken in the towns of Alacatlatzala, Cahuatache, Tenaztalcingo, Jilotepec, Zacatipa, Tototepec, Cuba Libre, San Isidro Labrador, Quiahuitlatlatzala, Xonacatlán, Tepecocatlán, Cuautipa, and Ocuapa, and in Oaxaca; "Metlatónoc Mixtec" [mxv] is spoken in Tlacoachistlahuaca and Cochoapa municipalities in East Guerrero; "Alcozauca Mixtec" [xta] is spoken in 14 villages near Metlatónoc, and south of San Mateo Neyapan in Oaxaca; "Yoloxóchitl Mixtec" [xty] is spoken in San Luís Acatlán municipality, Yoloxóchitl, and Cuanacastitlán.
