Kouri-Vini A Guide to Louisiana Creole Orthography
Kouri-Vini A Guide to Louisiana Creole Orthography (Christophe Landry, Cliford St. Laurent, Michael Gisclair with contributions from Oliver Mayeux and Eric Gaither) is a set of conventions for writing in the Kouri-Vini language. This guide was published in 2016, but the orthography was already in common use. In the past writers of Kouri-Vini have used French and/or Haitian Creole orthographies. The guide uses a spelling system specifically and uniquely designed for Louisiana Creolophones and learners/relearners of the Kouri-Vini language. The guide includes the alphabet, accent marks, punctuation, capitalization and hyphenation.
