Hues and views: A cross-cultural study reveals how language shapes color perception
This article is about a study tracking color naming, comprehension and memory in two populations over three years. Researchers from the University of Essex compared young English children with children of the Himba tribe in Namibia. The data support the theory that color terms are learned relative to language and culture.
