"This project is predicate upon a very simple premise : young Chakma and Tripura storytellers from the CHT will go out into the field and research unique aspects of their cultures and interview men and women from their respective communities. After that, they will piece all those bits together in coherently written nonfictional stories. Documentation of any kind is a worthy attempt to preserve an element of cultural and historical significance. But when preceded by research and interviews and field visits, well-written nonfictional stories not only preserve but carve out a very special place for cultural heritage in the stone walls of time."
