This article presents a women's group; Kontiwennenha:Wi, who sing in their native language; Kanyen'kéha. The songs promote and preserve their culture and show their vision about Mother Earth. They founded the Akwesasne Freedom School (https://freedom-school.org/) that is an language immersion school where they teach their traditions and inspire t revitalize their language to future generations.
