On World Mother Language Day 2026,  The Council of Indigenous Peoples and the Indigenous Languages Research and Development Foundation partnered together to bring to host a concert to uplift Indigenous languages in daily life. This intergenerational event brought together Indigenous singer-songwriters and attracted thousands of parents and children.
