Jade Music Fest was established to celebrate Chinese-language music in Canada by preserving languages, fostering generational connections, and building community with first-generation and 1.5+ generation artists for diverse Chinese-speaking communities and beyond.

Our mission is to highlight the richness of diverse voices and expand the conversation around inclusion. Looking ahead, we aim to amplify other underrepresented language groups and communities, including IBPOC artists, creating spaces where all voices are heard and valued.

JMF offers audiences an opportunity to experience the vibrancy of Chinese-language music from Canada through a dynamic mix of performances, workshops, and discussions featuring emerging and established artists, as well as music professionals from across the globe. By fostering connections between international and Canadian talent, we strive to create a more collaborative and unified Chinese-language music community in Canada.
