Saving Koasati

The Coushatta tribe has lived in southern Louisiana for centuries speaking their own language of Koasati. However their language is now on the verge of extinction as most young tribe members no longer can speak it. The tribe partnered with Anthropologists and linguists from The College of William & Mary and McNesse State University to preserve the language for future generations.
