Without the Defaka language, their cultural identity vanishes, as they have already assimilated with the Nkoroo people, including adopting their language. Preserving endangered languages, such as Defaka, promotes global equity by valuing diverse cultures, supports sustainability by safeguarding indigenous knowledge, and enhances cultural understanding through the celebration of linguistic diversity.
