COMENTÁRIOS SOBRE O CONTEXTO DO IDIOMA
Intermarriage with other Aslian groups gives some speakers knowledge of other Aslian languages; however Temiar is used as a lingua franca by many Northern Aslian groups and at a government hospital provided for all Aslian groups; it is also a school language with limited literacy materials. All speakers also speak Malay.
